The pierhead at the entrance to the Kewaunee River originally had a pair of range lights, and a steel shed that housed a fog signal. In 1931 the shed was expanded to include a new tower and light The 45 foot tower houses a Fifth Order Fresnel lens. The fog signal is still very active--protect your ears if you visit this site!
